For more than thirty years, Shubham Viklang Vikas Sansthan has been a symbol of commitment, compassion, and empowerment for persons with disabilities in Bihar and beyond.
From our humble beginnings in 1993 with just 22 beneficiaries, we have grown into a trusted institution that has touched the lives of over 27,000 individuals — transforming education, accessibility, and inclusion across communities.
Our work has been recognized by government bodies, universities, media houses, and national organizations for its innovation, dedication, and measurable social impact.
Institutional Milestones

📘 First Braille Press in Bihar (2017): Established under Shubham, producing over 64 lakh Braille pages and 172 textbook titles for visually impaired students.

🎓 Accessible Book Production Project: Recognized globally when our documentary was showcased at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) General Assembly (Geneva, 2015).

🤝 MoU with BRABU (2024): Partnership to promote accessible education for university students with disabilities.

💻 Digital Inclusion: Introduced computer literacy programs for the visually and hearing impaired in 2013, empowering youth with modern digital skills.

🧠 Professional Training Centre: Certified by the National Institute for the Visually Handicapped (NIVH), Dehradun) for teacher and parent training courses.

Blind Cricket: Players represented Bihar in national tournaments, including the Nagesh Trophy (2024).

Women’s Blind Cricket Team: Formed under Shubham’s guidance — participated in their first-ever national event in Kochi, Kerala (2024).

Athletics: Students won multiple medals in state and interstate athletic meets for the visually impaired.

Inclusive Matches: Organized friendly matches between differently-abled and general students, supported by the Mahila Imdad Committee, Raj Bhavan Patna.
